A Little About Me: Married with two children - Danny (8) and Eleanor (6). I’m bass player/vocalist in a local band (although we’re never going to make it big), and I also play soccer every week, which means I'm injured half the time. A Little About Me: I am currently studying English Literature, Music and Latin, with a view to doing a degree in English Literature. I first became a Potter fan in 1998 after Chamber of Secrets came out in the UK, and it has been amazing to watch the community grow over the years! Harry Potter aside, I will read absolutely anything, but I particularly enjoy books by Angela Carter and First World War literature. I’m a creative soul, and an aspiring author and songwriter … you should have seen the looks I got in my high school “career consultations”. I enjoy playing the piano, guitar and violin, and watching eccentric British comedy.

A Little About Me: Well I am the Resident Programmer here at hp-encyclopedia.com, over the past few years I have worked with mySQL and php. I just recently graduated high school and moved from the state of Wyoming to Tempe, AZ to attend Arizona State University. My Harry Potter background started when about four months after the first book was released. My dad put the book in front of me and told me to read it. Well at the time I hated everything about books. So I pretended to read it. When the second book was released was really when I got into. I reread the first book and was suprised how good the book was. Ever since I have been hooked on the HP craze and have worked on serveral websites promoting HP. A Little About Me: I'm a graduate student at Pace University, where I also earned my BA in English Literature, and am currently pursuing my Master's in Publishing. I got into the HP craze late in the game, receiving books 1-3 as a gift after book 6 had already been published. I quickly caught up with everyone else, reading GoF and OotP in about 8 days over a break from school. My obsession grew, and I ended up writing my Honors thesis on Hermione (my idol and favorite character!). I'm quite proud of my nerdiness, which extends to a love of grammar, poetry in Spanish, Feminism, various literary pursuits, and cult TV shows. I hope to soon be a free lance copy editor and own a cat named Crookshanks!

A Little About Me: I’m a writer who, by some sick twist of fate, wound up working days as a budget analyst (oh the shame) and freelancing in the evenings. My Harry Potter obsession started when I was in college and my roommate forced me to watch the first movie, something I was adamantly against at the time. I have been completely hooked ever since. In addition to my Potterholism, I’m a film addict and literature junkie. Three very time consuming habits that can lead to lack of funds, lack of sleep, and a very angry dachshund when I get so caught up in reading I forget to walk him.

A Little About Me: I'm a high school senior whose obsession with Harry Potter, while definitely still an obsession, seems a lot less impressive when compared with all the other enthusiasts the Encyclopedia and MuggleNet have drawn. That said, I still play a mean game of HP trivia, and have a knack for finishing sentences someone else has read aloud from the books, to the particular amusement of my English class one day at the end of last year. I may be best with Goblet of Fire- it was the first one released after I'd gotten into the series, and is still probably my favorite. Non-Harry-wise, I'm captain of our school's Quiz Bowl team and enjoy telling bad puns way too often (or so say my friends).
