The students bought their textbooks at Flourish and Blotts in Diagon Alley.
Sometimes, the textbook would be used in the same class for several years; for
example, Harry used One Thousand Magical Herbs and Fungi throughout his studies

Since Harry, Ron, and Hermione did not attend Hogwarts for their scheduled seventh year, we do not know what books were on the booklist, although given the fact that Voldemort controlled the school at this time, it is likely the texts taught the Dark Arts and/or discussed the inferiority of Muggles.
