Fanged Frisbees
Appearance: Discs that come in lime-green and possibly
other bright colours. They tend to snarl as they fly around.
Function: Recreational. Fanged Frisbees, like Muggle
Frisbees, are a leisure item. Fanged Frisbees have a few important features
that Muggle Frisbees do not; namely fangs, and sound effects. They are banned
from the Hogwarts corridors, as they have an appetite for tapestries and possibly
even furniture-or pupils.
How to Use: It seems one can unleash the mischief of
Fanged Frisbees merely by throwing them as with Muggle Frisbees.
Notes: Fanged Frisbees, like Ever Bashing Boomerangs
and Screaming Yo-yos, are magical variations of Muggle devices. Considered
largely a joke item, Fanged Frisbees can be purchased at joke shops like Zonko's
Joke Shop or Gambol and Japes.
Fanged Frisbees are used for entertainment purposes. Hogwarts
students can blow off a little steam by grabbing a Fanged Frisbee and tossing
it around, causing a little mischief and mayhem at the same time.
Fanged Frisbees are among the 437-plus items Hogwarts caretaker
Argus Filch has banned from the corridors. Despite this ban, and Filch's frequent
threats of detention and dismemberment, Hogwarts students are not deterred
and Fanged Frisbees are a common site within the castle.
